One-third of sales of Apple's iPhone 4 in the United States purchased from Amazon
In just five months since the launch of a smartphone that already in 8 months old at the time, Verizon now control a third of the market the iPhone 4 in the United States. These results are expressed by Localytics based in Massachusetts who say that statistics are remarkable considering the iPhone 4 for 8 months alone controlled by AT & T.
By using the Internet traffic based on application usage, Localytics said that shortly after releasing the iPhone 4 Verizon, they directly control 20% of the market the iPhone 4 in America. Since then theshare of the iPhone 4 Verizon continued to grow until now control 32.3%. With a planned launch ofthe iPhone 5 (or whatever its name) that will besold by the four largest national operator in the U.S. and will also be sold freely (unlocked), the growth of iPhone users in the United States almost certainly will increase more and more to establish Verizon as the number one operator in the land of Uncle Sam.
